Dementia Network of Durham Region
The Dementia Network of Durham Region brings together a variety of community partners to address broad issues of dementia and dementia care in Durham Region.Established in 2002, our membership has included a diverse mix of caregivers, health care professionals and representatives of health and social support organization, adding a grass roots dimension to what we do. The work of the Network is performed through work groups under the direction of a steering committee.
Our Vision
To be a forum for people with dementia, their caregivers and service providers to work collaboratively to establish priorities and champion initiatives that result in positive change for people affected by dementia.

Delirium is a confusional state that represents a medical emergency. Pre-existing dementia is one of the most important risk factors for the development of delirium. Recognizing and reporting symptoms early can save lives. Use these colourful and informative posters to support staff education! |
