Central East Community Care Access Centre (CE CCAC)

CE CCAC helps residents of Durham Region to access government-funded home and community services and long-term care homes. They also provide information about local community support service agencies and can link people to these agencies to arrange services.

Coach Broyle's Playbook for Alzheimer's CaregiversWebsite based on the wonderful book of the same name created by Frank Broyle, Athletic Director for the University of Arkansas Razorbacks, based on his experiences caring for his wife Barbara. The book is very user friendly and organized like a coach's playbook. This website features an interactive playbook that can be read online or a copy can be downloaded and printed. Family Caregivers' Network Society
The website for a British Columbia based not-for-profit society established in 1989 whose mission is to inform, support and educate on issues of concern to family caregivers. FCNS is governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees, 60% of who are or have been family caregivers themselves. FCNS promotes the significance of the family caregiver’s role and contribution in the healthcare system.
