Membership

Become a member of Alzheimer Society of Durham Region. You can join at any time and your membership will last for 12 months. There are several good reasons to become a member:

  • Members receive our quarterly newsletter, Connections, with notices of upcoming events, conferences and meetings.
  • Membership also presents you with an opportunity to vote at our Annual General Meeting and to borrow resources from our library without leaving a deposit.
  • Funders and government ministries expect proof that an organization is supported by its community. One of the measures they use is the number of paid memberships.

For a membership application, contact our office Annual fee is $10.00 per year and can be paid by cheque, cash or credit card.

Fundraising Events

Throughout the year, the Society hosts several special events to raise funds for support and education programs. Donations/pledges for the individual events can be made online by clicking on the DONATE icon at the top of the webpage.
